Terms of Use
Effective August 9, 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and Ugh, Dating. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Ugh, Dating.
You must be 18 or older
Ugh, Dating is an adults-only dating service. You must be at least 18 to create an account. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are removed, and content involving minors is reported to the appropriate authorities.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Ugh, Dating. Content that breaks these rules is removed and the account responsible is suspended or permanently banned. This is not a warning system.
You may not post, send, or share:
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, intimidation, or abuse of any kind
- Nudity, sexually explicit content, or any content that sexualises a minor
- Content from, about, or depicting anyone under 18
- Impersonation, catfishing, fraud, scams, or commercial solicitation
- Violence, gore, promotion of self-harm, or illegal activity
- Another person's private information, images, or messages without their consent
- Spam, malware, or attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service
You also may not use Ugh, Dating to solicit money, promote another service, or collect other members' information.
Reporting, and what we do about it
Every post, message, forum thread, and profile can be reported from inside the app, and reporting also hides the content from you immediately. Reports reach our moderation queue with the reported content attached.
We review every report within 24 hours. Where content breaks these Terms we remove it and suspend or permanently ban the account that posted it. You can also block any member, which removes all of their content from your view and prevents further contact.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate an account at any time where we believe these Terms have been broken, without prior notice.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Ugh, Dating a licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
Content is scanned automatically before delivery. Explicit imagery is rejected and never reaches another member. Automated filtering is not perfect and does not replace reporting.
Your account
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Do not create an account for anyone else, share an account, or create a new account after being banned.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Deletion removes your profile from discovery and begins deletion of associated account data.
Subscriptions
Ugh, Dating+ is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Membership does not affect how other members see you and never changes your position in anyone's discovery.
No warranty, and limits
Ugh, Dating is provided as is. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members and we cannot guarantee anyone's identity, conduct, or intentions. Use your judgement, meet in public, and tell someone where you are going. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ugh, Dating is not liable for the conduct of any member, online or offline.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of Ugh, Dating after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
