Nope
Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) · Last updated: August 2026
Nope is an adults-only (18+) dating service. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualization of minors. This page sets out our standards and the measures we take, published in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
Adults only
Nope is intended solely for people aged 18 and older. Creating an account requires confirming you are an adult, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the service. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
Prohibited conduct
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualizes minors.
- Grooming, solicitation, or enticement of a minor.
- Trafficking, exploitation, or any sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- Impersonating a minor or presenting oneself as a minor.
How we prevent and detect it
- Age eligibility (18+) is required at sign-up.
- Uploaded images are scanned automatically; explicit content is rejected before it can be shared.
- Profile verification reviews submitted media for identity and authenticity.
- Human moderation of reported and escalated content.
Reporting
Every profile and conversation includes report and block controls, so users can report child-safety concerns in the app at any time. You can also email our child-safety point of contact at support@ughme.com.
Our response
- We remove violating content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
- We preserve relevant records needed to support investigations.
Compliance and contact
Nope complies with applicable child-safety laws and reporting obligations. Our designated point of contact for child-safety matters is support@ughme.com.
